Terms and conditions

1. You can order your own home office furniture and IT equipment via your Clifford Chance email address. Once delivered all equipment will become your own property and will fall under your own responsibility and insurance.
2. The tax authorities consider this home office equipment as part of your income if not fully depreciated (3 years).  If you decide to leave the firm within three years after the purchase and you would like to keep (part of) the equipment, you have to pay taxes over the residual value (desk/chair/monitor/docking station).
3. Within the three year period you can also return the equipment to Clifford Chance.
   In that case Clifford Chance becomes the owner and no residual taxes have to be paid.
4. IT Equipment will not be replaced or repaired outside of their standard warranty,
